GPA SENIOR SANCTUARY OF FLORIDA

GPA Senior Sanctuary of Florida is a group of volunteers who are dedicated to placing senior greyhounds over the age of seven either in permanent foster homes or hopefully with new adoptive families. They are also dedicated to educating the public of the importance and true meaning of lifelong commitment when adopting.

Senior greyhounds are friendly, intelligent, affectionate dogs that thrive on attention. When their racing careers are over, they make marvelous companions. Unfortunately, there are many senior greyhounds retired from breeding, abandoned in shelters, or thoughtlessly returned by their adopters to the adoption groups they originated from. It is unfair and extremely sad that, at an elderly age when they should be relaxing and enjoying the golden years of their lives, they are being bounced around and left to be forgotten. Handmade4Hounds Shop on Etsy helps hounds find their forever homes.  This month all proceeds, minus fees, will be donated to Greyhound Pets of America Senior Sactuary of Florida.
