Southern Arizona Greyhound Adoption is an all-volunteer,
501 c 3 non-profit organization, which is dedicated to better the lives of
ex-racing greyhounds by securing loving and qualified forever homes. We are
located in Tucson, Arizona, a greyhound racing state. The greyhounds in our
program come to us directly from the racing track.
To support our mission, greyhounds coming into our care are given pre-adoptive health services as well as neutering. The dogs experience residential foster care to help them acclimate to a home environment. We identify loving and responsible forever-home situations and provide an ongoing mentoring system to adopters. We seek to educate the public about the wonderful greyhound breed and what great companions they make after their racing careers.
