Charity of the Month: Greyhound Pets of America - Greater Northwest, January 2021

   SHOPPING HERE HELPS HOUNDS! This month ALL PROCEEDS  from the Handmade4Hounds Shop on Etsy, minus fees, will be donated to Greyhound Pets of America - Greater Northwest (GPAGNW)

Founded in 2004, GPAGNW is an all volunteer nonprofit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to placing retired racing Greyhounds into homes throughout the Pacific Northwest and Western Canada. GPAGNW transports Greyhounds from racetracks and breed farms all over the United States.  All our adoptable dogs are housed in volunteer foster homes until they are adopted. Great care is taken to match each Greyhound with the right home environment. Our volunteers have years of experience with Greyhounds as well as being Greyhound owners themselves. It all works only with your support.

Charity of the Month: Greyhound Pets of America - Emerald Coast, November 2018

SHOPPING HERE HELPS HOUNDS! This month ALL PROCEEDS will be donated to Greyhound Pets of America - Emerald Coast - GPAEC

This month all proceeds, minus fees, will be donated to: 

"GPAEC, a chapter of Greyhound Pets of America, is a volunteer, not-for-profit corporation organized to educate the public of the value of retired greyhounds as pets and receive and process greyhounds from the Pensacola Greyhound Track for adoption.
GPAEC is a non-profit organization, staffed exclusively by volunteers who are dedicated to finding good, responsible, permanent homes for retired racing greyhounds and younger dogs that didn't make the grade as racers. GPAEC also places greyhounds throughout nearby states through a dedicated, active network of Adoption Representatives"

Charity of the Month: GPA - Louisville, March 2018

SHOPPING HERE HELPS HOUNDS! This month ALL PROCEEDS will be donated to GPA Louisville - www.gpalouisville.org.

Greyhound Pets of America-Louisville
is the Louisville chapter of Greyhound Pets of America. GPA-Louisville is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer organization which relies entirely on donations and gifts from people and organizations which support our efforts.  We rely on foster homes as well as bringing in greyhounds when we have applications and they are approved for adoption.  Most of our greyhounds come from surrounding states.

Through a unique partnership with the Kentucky Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ), Greyhound Pets of America/Louisville has entered into a special partnership to promote responsibility and provide opportunities for career development of at-risk youth within Morehead Youth Development Center (MYDC).  This program provides transitional care and basic obedience training for newly retired racing Greyhounds, en route to their new “Forever Homes”.
