At Friends of Retired Greyhounds (FORG), the dedicated volunteers find loving homes for retired racing greyhounds, lurchers, and other sight hounds. Based in the Denver, Colorado metro area, we tailor our efforts to connect these gentle, graceful dogs with families ready to give them the care and companionship they deserve.

Our mission goes beyond adoption. We work with local partners to ensure every hound gets a second chance at a happy, comfortable life. Fast-forward to 2025 and Friends of Retired Greyhounds is bigger and more efficient than before. With years of experience under our belts of placing greyhounds in their forever and loving homes, the sky is the limit with what we will be able to accomplish in the years to come, with your help.

Charity of the Quarter: Greyhounds In Motion, January - March 2026

  SHOPPING HERE HELPS HOUNDS! This quarter ALL PROCEEDS will be donated to Greyhounds in Motion

The mission of Greyhounds In Motion is to expedite the transition of greyhounds from retired racer to family pet. We provide transport and accommodations for greyhounds — and sighthounds alike — to assist them on their journey to their forever homes. Many hounds are brought from overseas into the United States and driven to their adopting family with the help of volunteers. With many miles behind us, our mission is to get as many dogs into loving homes as possible.

Over time the needs shifted and we headed to Spain with the dream of helping Galgos. Through our partnership with Galgos del Sol we now have our own adoption program in addition to our transport program.
